A portal to link Prostate Cancer Support Groups globally
ProstateNow.org is the Portal linking vetted Prostate Cancer Support Groups and other organizations, in order to provide important news, development, and resources for education, prevention, diagnosis and treatments.
We are past, present, and future patients of life-changing Prostate Cancer. We are men, husbands, fathers, grandfathers, partners who have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. We have had surgeries, radiation therapies, and focal treatments, or we have chosen Active Surveillance.
We suffer with anxiety, pain, uncertainty, and sometimes by conflicting recommendations. Our missions are:
1. to create an Alliance of Support Groups empowering patients.
2. to demand more attention and funding from US Congress, private donors and grant initiatives to leverage science and technology for faster advancement of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and Quality of Life issues for Prostate Cancer patients.
The portal will have a global calendar of scheduled virtual or in-person meetings and events from various Support Groups.
ProstateNow.org has a current list of Support Groups around the country and includes others outside the US with important information for Prostate Cancer patients and families.
Resources link will list developments, important news of interest to Prostate Cancer patients.
Together we stand, divided we fall: fighting prostate cancer one day at a time.
